Welcome to the South Carolina FSA Website!
The Farm Service Agency is a federal agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Located in all 50 states, FSA provides farmers with a strong safety net through the administration of farm commodity and disaster programs and helps to conserve the nation’s natural resources through the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP). The agency also provides financial credit to eligible producers who are unable to receive private, commercial credit.

2024 Hurricane Season
Hurricane season is officially underway and lasts until November 30th. USDA encourages producers to prepare and protect their family and agricultural operations.
Please Note: Due to long standing federal law, producers should not perform any cleanup efforts until an environmental evaluation has been completed by your local county office unless there is an immediate threat to human life. Failure to comply could jeopardize a producer's payment eligibility.
For more information please visit Hurricane Preparation and Recovery Resources | Farmers.gov or contact your local USDA Service Center.
